The newsletter

I write about the method — what it asks of a person, and why I think it works the way it does.

When I finish a piece, it goes out here. Sometimes that is an idea I have been turning over for months, and sometimes it is a paragraph I wrote on a Tuesday because I could not stop thinking about it.

I also write about what I keep seeing in the room — the shapes an argument takes, the moment a person stops listening and starts defending. In general terms only. Nobody reads their own story here.

If any of that sounds useful, put your address in and I will send it to you.

In the form you can choose as many of the five groups as fit, or none. What each one means is further down the page.
